By now you’ve learned all about the SmartCode. You’ve educated key stakeholders and built political support. You’ve even begun planning your own customized SmartCode as an optional—or even mandatory—ordinance.

Soon will come the time to evaluate project applications, and face a potential scenario where both parties—planner and developer—find themselves on unfamiliar ground.

It's where the rubber hits the traffic-calmed road. And, like any revision to established ways of doing things, it's got the potential to be challenging.

That's why we've been hard at work on SmartCode Navigator, a hands-on training protocol and software tutorial, designed to help guide you through. Navigator will operate in a manner similar to tax preparation software, leading you step-by-step through the SmartCode application process and providing the key guidance you need along the way—for both the developer making the submission and the planner doing the review.

We're currently in beta-testing and hope to see a broad market release in the near future. Stay tuned, or drop us a line.
